2 – 6mm bead
2 – 4mm bead

Instructions

Step 1
Take one of the 18 gauge wires and put a loop on one side so it looks like an eye pin.
Set aside.

Step 2
Take one of the 22 gauge wire (base wire) and wrap a 26 gauge wire around it 3 times about ½ to ¾ inch from one end.

Step 3
Put another 22 gauge wire (base wire) right next to the one just wrapped.
Wrap the weaving wire (the 26 gauge wire) around both 22 gauge wires twice.

Step 4
Repeat steps 2 and 3 by wrapping the weaving wire around the first base wire three times and then both base wires twice till the weave is ¾ to 1 inch long.

Step 5
Coil the base wire with the 3 wraps from the last step with the weaving wire til it is coiled 1 ½ to 2 inches long.
Cut off weaving wire and smooth down end.
Cut off the begin tail of the weaving wire and smooth with pliers.

Step 6
Take the eye pin made in step one and thread the woven piece thru just to where the beginning of of the weave is at the eye part.
Bend the base wires with no weaving on them around the eye of the pin to they almost touch the weave.

Step 7
Cut off the bare base wires of the weave just long enough to hook around the eye and touch the woven part of the wire.
Crimp down gently with pliers to secure in place.

Step 8
Put the 8mm bead on the eye pin and wrap the woven wire around the wire sticking out the bead on the side away from the eye.
At this point all the weave done on two wires should be used going around the bead and 18 gauge wire.

Step 9
Slip the 6mm bead on the eye pin and situate it right next to the weave wrapped around the eye pin.
Wrap the coiled wire around the 6mm bead and once around the head pin wire under the bead.

Step 10
Wrap the bare wire around the bead in a way both the coiled and bare wire can be seen from the front of the earring.
Wrap the bare wire around the eye pin under the coiled wire once.

Step 11
Slip the 4mm bead onto the eye pin right next to the wires wrapped around it.
Wrap the bare wire around the 4mm bead once.
Coil the bare wire around the eye pin 8 to 14 times depending on how long of a point is desired (the picture has it wrapped 12 times)

Step 12
Wrap the coiled wire around the 4mm bead.
Continue wrapping it around the coil under the bead a couple times.

Step 13
After the coil on the 22 gauge wire ends continue wrapping the wire around till it is right next to the bare wire wrapped around the eye pin.

Step 14
Wrap both smaller wires around the eye pin together at the same time, 2 to 3 times.

Step 15
Cut off the two 22 gauge wires close to where they are wrapped and smooth ends down with pliers.

Step 16
Cut off the eye pin right where the 22 gauge wires end.
Smooth with a file as needed.

Step 17
Make the 2nd earring like the first one.
Put earring hooks on to the earrings and enjoy your new earrings.
Make again in different colors.
Remember the earrings do not have to match 100%, they are hand made and the imperfections makes each pair unique.
